Linking museums & Indigenous communities

My curatorial, research, teaching and consulting work has emphasized relationship-building between museums and Indigenous Peoples. I have especially sought to create new forms of access for Indigenous community members to cultural items held in museum collections. Collections research history, or provenance research, is important in order for museums to work with communities of origin and I welcome the chance to link Indigenous artists and historians with archival and material research to enhance understanding of the origins of items in museums.
